Greetings from India!
Allow me to introduce myself as Alvin Anthony an Engineer from India, with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master's of Technology Degree in Mechatronics.
I have about four years of work experience in the field of Marine and Industrial Fluid Power (Oil Hydraulics and Pneumatics). My work experience has been in the design, manufacturing, commissioning, diagnostics, trouble shooting, testing of components, instrumentation and test rig design of marine and industrial equipment. I have worked as a Ship Repair Engineer where I had an opportunity to work (Service & Test) on Components by major Hydraulic manufacturers and also on Large systems - like Cargo Gear - Cranes and Grabs (Liebherr, SMAG, IHI, DEMAG etc.), Steering Gear (KHI), Main Engine Maneuvering Controls - Pneumatic systems, Propeller Pitch Controllers CPP (PMC), Winches, Fin Stabilizers etc. This experience gave me an opportunity to study and understand designs by designers world over. I would now like to reenter the academic circles to strengthen my knowledge base and understanding.
I am looking for a prospective area to carry out Doctoral studies - PhD research fellowship in the areas of Fluid Power and Mechatronics. I am interested in pursuing a high level practical academic research, while being able to work hands-on and enhance my skills. I am a young enthusiastic, practical engineer and researcher, I'd like to know if you have any PhD vacancies at present. If there exists such an opportunity and if you need any extra information about me please do contact me at alvin911@gmail.com.
Thank you!
With warm regards,
Yours sincerely,
Alvin Anthony
