Become member of FPNI
1. Membership categories (according to the FPNI statutes):
- Standard members: Public or private research institution with a prime interest in fluid power: Membership either by the institution or by a person representing the institution (e.g., the head of a university institute becomes member representing his institute)
- Company members: Any company whose main business activity involves fluid power, fluid power control, or fluid power consulting.
- Personal members: Individuals not meeting the two other categories definitions can become "personal" members by consent of the Board.
2. Procedure to become a member:
Write to the Chairman, Secretary, or another Member of the Board an e-mail, a fax or a letter
- declare your interest to become a member and
- the intended membership category
- in case of an intended standard or company membership: describe briefly the institution/company (give reference to the web page) and your position therein
- if a personal membership is intended: provide a detailed CV with your contributions to fluid power and explain your reasons to become a personal member of FPNI
You will be contacted by the Chairman or the Secretary for the further steps to be taken.
